Wireless Self-Powered Intelligent Networks

Batteries Are Cheap. Replacing Them Isn't! ®

WiSPI® (pronounced Why Spy) provides custom energy system solutions to cost-effectively provide Power for the Life of your Products. Our solutions will be sold under the brand name Infion Integrated Power. Based on DARPA-funded technology at Georgia Tech, our proprietary green, chip-scale power modules have twice the energy density of current batteries, and will extend the operating life of many products. Much smaller than micro-fuel cells for cell phones or laptops, our power supplies are combined with storage and charge control devices to meet power requirements for wireless network, consumer, life safety and other products.

Batteries Are Cheap. Replacing Them Isn't!® A significant cost and limitation of battery powered electronic products is the labor required to change their batteries, due to operating lifetime and/or shelf-life limitations. Assembled and packaged as custom solutions or as drop-in replacements for existing batteries, Infion Integrated Power supplies solve those problems. In many applications, your customers may never have to change batteries again, including:

Wireless Networks: Short-lived batteries are a major impediment to widespread installation of many available sensor technologies for commercial, industrial, residential and military applications. Infion Integrated Power supplies are built to extend the operating lifetime of many edge-of-network devices, reducing or eliminating the need to replace batteries.

Consumer Products: Traditional batteries are inconvenient to change and dispose of properly. Infion provides a green, efficient power solution customized to meet the design life of specific products. Customers may never change batteries again.

Life Safety Products: Lives depend on these products. Traditional batteries have a shelf-life of less than five years. When emergency strikes, are these products ready? Infion Integrated Power will keep products charged and ready to use - whenever, wherever customers need them.

WiSPI® will build a limited quantity of Infion prototypes in 2008 for selected customers seeking the competitive advantages Infion will give their products. Please visit www.infion.com for a more complete introduction to our unique energy system solution.

Thank you for you interest in WiSPI®.
